Hello All,

I have not been doing a good job of keeping up this blog lately... I see that roughly 2 months has passed since my last post!  So much has happened...  We had a fantastic thanksgiving and we were able to share thanksgiving with my mother in law and brother in law who flew out to spend a few days with us over thanksgiving.  That made all the difference; there's nothing like having family there for the holidays.  We also had my Mom, Dad and Paige visit us for a few days as we approached Christmas, about the 18th-21st or so.  That was very nice too because, again, there's nothing like seeing family as the holidays approach.  While we had visitors we showed them the town, the downtown, the lake and the base.

On the work side of things... not much has changed.  I'm still working as an executive officer for a LtCol, and I have enjoyed the job a lot.  I work in an office with an O-5, O-4, E-9, E-8 several NCO's as well as civilian AF employees.  It's been a good opportunity to observe and learn.  I am finally starting class at the end of January.  Finally.  That means Erica and I will be in San Angelo until the end of August or early September.  In about 3 months we'll know where we're headed from here.  We don't know where exactly we would like to go, but a few places we'd like to avoid...

Erica is still working at Best Buy.  She was one of the only people they decided to retain from seasonal work to permanent staff.  Apparently they agree with me that she's awesome.  Working there hasn't been the most fulfilling for her.  But, it's something to do, it's a little extra money and it keeps her busy while she works on her Masters Degree which she has made great progress on.  She has about 10 months or so of instruction remaining and then will write her thesis.

Anyway, perhaps that's why I don't update this much... I'm still working, Erica's still working.  Steve visits us from San Antonio or vica versa  every few weeks or so, maybe once a month.  We do our chores on the weekends and up until about 4 days ago crossed our fingers waiting for them to tell me I could start class...  which they finally have.

So, we're still here and we're still having fun.
